Public Hearing: 1-81 Southbound Widening (Washington Co.) was held on Thursday October 21, 2021 at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites – Bristol Convention Center. Proposed widening to three lanes of Interstate 81 southbound between mile markers 8.1 and 9.7 and extension of the northbound 1-81 merge lane. This project will involve a change and/or break in limited access control.
